I chose the hotel simply because it was the hotel where the conference I was attending was organised. There is nothing of the hotel that stayed as a good reason to go back. As a matter of fact, I will be in Copenhagen again shortly and I will surely not chose this hotel, or any other SAS Radisson. I am particularly disappointed from the hotel. Firstly I had to change room on arrival as the bathroom was not properly cleaned. I had to change room again, as the one I was given was facing the highway and was very noisy, at the third attempt I finally entered a decent room. Rooms are small, in need of refurbishment, and very badly furnished. The hotel is very expensive, most of the personnel (although not everyone) was unfriendly and inattentive.
The hotel is about 1 km from the city center. There is a Metro station 5 min away. Considering the other options in the area, I think it has a fair price/quality ratio. The furniture is old, so is the TV, and all the rooms with a view to the river/city center have twin beds (at least that's what they told us) so if you want a double-bed room you'll have to settle with an ugly view (towards a gas station and a no man's land). Since the breakfast is so expensive, you can grab a coffee and croissants from the petrol station nearby.
Nice hotel, with quite nice atmosphere and quiet pleasant staff. Beutiful swimming pool and sauna. Nice overwiev to the city. Very good access to airport by bus 5A. Not many equipment on the room - only 3 shampoons and one soap. No other equipment like comb, brush etc. The hotel is not right at the centre of the city, you have to walk for a while to the nearest metro station.
Courteous staff. Great fitness center. Poor checkout process that took 20 minutes waiting in line. I noticed the express checkout sign poorly placed and was not aware of it upon arrival. No notice of express checkout in the room. Very annoying since I was in a rush. Fitness center couldhave been open earlier in the morning (i.e 5:30 or 6am).
Location is pretty close to the center, nice lobby and some rooms nicely prepared Some rooms with small beds and poor, cheap interior
Only the view, really, although the window was a bit pocky. The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The gym/swimming pool area was very disorganized. The attendant was on the phone and was not giving us the right information so we had to keep coming in and out of the changing rooms because he forgot to give us the right keycard, then the towels ...
The view from he room (20th floor) is expectacular. I would have liket to have a watar boiler and coffe in my room. We had problems wih the temperature in he conference room, it was very hot, but hey gave us a lot of water and we managed.
I did like the location of the Hotel I think the shower of my room could be improved. It was not working as it should: water was wether too cold or too hot.
Cannot control room temperature. For price paid, I'd expect the courtesy of being able to decide for myself what my room temperature should be. They offered me a little table top fan and Said sorry. Or, "Open your window..." except there is so much road noise that I couldn't sleep with this option. Very dissapointed with this hotel. P
The staff were impeccable, I was treated extremely well. The selection of eatery's on the premises was fantastic - I didn't need to leave the hotel at all!
Nice room complete with all amenities and was available for an early am checkin. Nice breakfast with lots of choices. For such a nice expensive hotel, there was no air conditioning in the room. Opening the window helped some but then the traffic noise was unbearable. A call to reception at 3 am to ask for a fan was futile - all fans had been given out.
