Large room; clean bathroom; beds were ok but not great. Carpets needed replacement
The sympathy of the hotel crew. It's really impossible to find it if you don't have a map of the city. I had to go around the block four times, park at the Wilson Parking Lot and have the hotel clerk guide me through the streets by the cell phone to be able to get there.
Staff members very kind and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Although downtown the rooms were very quiet. There's no parking lot, only a public parking a hundred meters aways which costs about 15 euros per night.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very well situated Nothing
Hotel de la Loge is a small, family-owned & operated hotel, very centrally located in Perpignan. It is on a quiet ruelle wide enough for foot traffic only. Owners Mirielle and Herve Barraud are cheery, outgoing, and very informative. All by themselves, they are worth staying at their hotel. The room was modestly appointed, as befitting the modest price, but very clean and neat. The couple recommended several restaurants (highly recommended is Amalia Restaurant 50 meters away, which features Portuguese-style tapas and the haunting songs of the famed fadista Amalia Rodrigues. Between the owners and the very central location, this is a superior choice. I will definitely stay with them again on my next visit. I am not a complaining personality, and besides, found nothing to even consider complaining about.
Near the centre, large family room, clean , comfortable, quiet. No parking directly at the hotel, Need to use and pay for a nearby car park
Location and service received
Man on the desk did not like us bringing a friend who was staying in a near by hotel into our room for a drink.
Good, clean, cheap, and quiet hotel - staff were helpful and breakfast was good value for money.
Fantastic location - 5 minutes walk from the castle centre of Perpignan - great cafes and restaurants
Good location in the centre, large bedrooms Fairly noisy, but central location. Hotel tried to overcharge me because they did not read the booking confirmation fax.
reasonable price and amenable staff
Extremely good value for money given it's city cnter location. Staff also friendky and helpful. Lift was very small.
It was central, good value and clean
Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, nice view of street, well cleaned room, well functioning bathroom, comfortable beds (though bit small for tall people). In terms of decoration, furnishing and facilities, rather dated, consequently seemed expensive. The room was also really quite small for the 3 beds we had. If it had been 30% cheaper I would not mention this, but I have stayed in very much smarter rooms all over europe for the same money.
Good parking facilities Noisy airconditioning all night. Restaurant fully booked, had to walk into town to get dinner. Internet connections, wireless and cable via TV did not work.
secure parking it turned out to be farther from city centre than expected. Furnishings "tired". Free Intenret in the room didn't work, but staff didn't care. They offered the use of a lobby computer, but it had an old very stiff and weird keyboard which required pounding and slowed down use and they chanrged for this.
Fairly conveniently located, offered on-site parking Quality of the facilities was below the standard anticipated for a three star hotel, particularly with regard to décor and general appearance
The spacious bathroom
We only stayed here for one night so this hotel was fine for this, room was big The colour of the room was a bright orange, yellow, very much like 70's, could do with new paint!
The friendly english-speaking receptionist Traffic noise, the rooms need to be refurbished.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good location - bus stop for beach just outside, and not far to town centre.
Helpful staff, comfortable room, lovely aspect from my room
just 1 night - good location and old world atmosphere of rooms peeling paint - a bit of renovation needed
First room was very stark, not the upgraded room we had reserved. Second room was fine. Did not like the location. Several hundred yards off the busy area. Felt a little unsafe in the evening.
