Very nice place although slightly outdated, excellent value for money (special offer) and spontaneous upgrade to the executive suite which was very much appreciated. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choices, and little gifts and attentions in the room. Close to the beach and shops. Breakfast staff didn't seem very happy to be there, small pool with not much animation, no direct access to the beach.
The room was ok, fairly clean and a comfortable bed. Television had a decent satellite channel package. The service was bad, and the staff couldn't handle the amount of guests. Breakfast offered a lot of variety, but bad quality. Nothing that fits the price of the hotel. There are only two elevators so they are always busy and we had to take the emergency stairs, which have not been cleaned for a while. The room's balcony had 2 simple plastic chairs that weren't clean. Overall, this is a 3 star hotel at best, and not a good one.
Its only redeeming value is that its price was significantly lower than the top hotels: Dan Eilat and Herodes. 1. Poorly trained young staff, many without English language skills.2.. Location is not in main beach strip but at a Marina and too close to airport. 3. Use of Dan name was misleading.
The Breakfast The rooms are small the beds are uncomfortable the staff Is left back the method of payment are out of order
Great breakfast. Beautiful views. That we couldn't get an espresso on saturday. Ofbalk the mitzvahs that were not being kept, not sure why insist on this one...
Having booked a terrace room we benefitted from outside jacuzzi on large balcony with sun beds, which also overlooked the lagoon. Free access to the Club Lounge was an additional benefit which proved very useful. Fortunately it wasn't too much in demand when we were there as it is small. The cafeteria like atmosphere of the dining room with food to match. Insufficient lifts to cope with guests especially when large coach parries arrived - it sometimes took us quite a while to reach the floor we wanted and there was no staircase (only emergency one). Internet charge is high. The walk to the beach is more than 5 mins but we didn't need it anyway as we aren't 'beach people' - more interested in hiking.
The breakfast and the range of food offered was great. Staff not very helpful, in certain cases they seemed not informed and disoriented. The so called "Executive Room" was advertised as a spacious room with a large terrace but it turned out to be a modest size room with a very small balcony! The image used in the website and the actual reality - at least in terms of the balcony- were clearly out of line.
i order suit//'- and ther was no sutis aveilabol// it was very an plesent / jast ilana the menejer was nice and helpful .
No water front , rooms a bit weak for 5 stars Lift slower then that never saw !
Hotel was very nice, couldnt believe how nice it was for what we paid. Pool was really nice as well. Tourist info was really helpfull. Food was very good. Would highly reccommend it That I couldnt stay longer
Israel/view/breakfast/weather/service/Israel Everything was nice
No value for money
the breakfast buffet was amazing - we never saw anything like it. The pool was great and the service was excellent. It was very affordable - we got what we paid for and so much more. I would definitely stay there the next time i visit eilat.
Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful and truly seemed to care that everything is was ok. Free breakfast was over the top in terms of choices and variety of food. If you are going to Eilat and want to be in North Beach (on the boardwalk) and near food, shopping, carnival, this is a very central and nice place to stay.
The hotel was run down and smelled like smoke in hallway. Toilet didn't flush. Took 45 minutes to get a toothbrush. Non friendly staff. Dirty rags on floor of elevator. Not worth the money, Not 5 stars, Maybe 2!
i have stayed at this hotel before and i love the feeling of luxury it has, and the staff are very friendly
I liked the room service Most staff at the reception desk (except for Megan) are not attentive, they are slow and are not interested to serve your needs, the staff at the lobby restaurant do not conceal irritation by work.
This hotel can not be classified 5 star its more like a 3 star. Limited facilities and gives the feeling of being on budget holiday camp
Good location, near the sea and Eilat center area. Breakfast should be open later, at least until 11 AM, better till noon. WiFi Internet should be available throughout all floors and in all rooms and free of charge.
Perfect view from the room, rooms are quite clean, customer service works quite well, all requests are fullfilled quickly and the quality is checked by customer service, good food beds are short and not very comfortable, a bit noisy from the promenade
excellent food. Very nice pool area. Cleanliness. treatments in spa. Took quite a long time- nearly a full afternnon - for reception staff to accept that the phone in my room was indeed broken. Four staff members kept telling me I was using the wrong codes. Finally a very nice maintenance man got it sorted. Did not like the congestion at reception area and having to wait for service on a number of occasions.
They had a really great breakfast, fresh and lots of different food to choose from, bear in mind Israeli breakfast, so no meat dishes. You could also have a minute made omelette if you wanted. Surprisingly good gym for being a hotel gym, even for someone who is a bit more advanced and want to use free weights, not bad at all! Nice seaview from the balcony. Could definetely come back to that place.
Actually I did like nothing in this hotel. City is good, hotel is nothing. Everything in this hotel is very old. I feel like it was constructed and furnished 30 years ago and till now has never been renovated. A lot of smells of cheap deodorants everywhere. It should stand for maximum of 3 stars.
Some of the standard rooms are very little and to get in to some of the room the gusts need to up stairs about 10 stairs (without elevator)
the swimming pool was great. proximity to the beach/beach front was good. breakfast was excellent (but definitely too busy after 8:30am) the rooms were not 100% cleaned and outside /balcony furniture was not cleaned. carpets very dirty. fittings in bathrooms falling off. request for high floor ignored (was put on 1st floor). air conditioning had to be on MAX adequate (we were not sweating) but could have been much better. sound on TV was terrible (had to have volume on max to try hear). one room key did not work and took 2 attempts to get fixed. In fairness, we did not complain about any of this - so we did not give hotel a chance to change our room (we were already unpacked).
Food selection gate to the beach open only at 6 AM
i love the modern look of the hotel and the fact that it was on the beach
I liked the staff, as they were very friendly and basically were the only good thing during our stay. Everything was terrible, hotel needs to be reconstructed. Its known that pictures do not show everything but this is that variant when you have shock when you get into your room, furniture and facilities are old, swimming pool is small and full of crazy kids, food is terrible and they do not have normal wifi, etc. Better choose a hotel which won't be in the center and somewhere on the island, as beach next to the hotel was the worst i have ever seen in my life.
La ubicación. Estaba Bien. No era muy limpio el hotel, se salia el agua por la ducha. Lavaron la alfonbra y quedo mojada toda una noche.
The hotel is situated close to the sea. I didn't like old carpets in the hall and in our room, unfriendly staff at the reception and the handle which has left in my hand when I closed the door.
everyone speaks only russian and hebrew!!! :( if you speak english, stay home, or go to another hotel. There is no exist to the lagoon, only to the back of the hotel. no room service on Sabbat. the worst placed hotel in Eilat. Should be a 2-3* maximum. Everything is old and looks arabic. to get to the beach (which sucks) you must walk through a field of dust as there is no road!!! Worst hotel i've staid in since arround 1993.
Outstanding location , great room with wonderful view Room carpets very old and dirty and funiture old - needs modernizing
The hotel is very outdated, needs renovation!!! No bathrobe, no shampoo. It's a zoo at breakfast time. Booked for three people, but one of us had to go to a different hotel, was not possible to stay in this room for all of us.The only plus is a hotel staff, nice and helpful and a location.
Location was convenient and the lobby was very spacious and nice pool. I made 4 requests from the desk manager and the response was alwsays the say "we don't do that, you have to." No. 1, there are no towels in the room...response you need to call housekeeping No. 2 do you have any change for the taxi...response you can go across the street; No. 3 do you have an israel power adapter to borrow....response. If we have one it will be here in an hour....we don't carry things like that. No. 4 Is there breakfast area....response..its probbly over, but if its open its around the corner over there. Acutally was open for another 45 minutes and it was disorganized at best. Go in not expecting much and you won't be disappointed.
Located close to the see. Food was good - buffet style. Room was big and comfortable with the balcony and extra couch (folded) for extra two people. Carpet was old and dirty. It was mentioned that hotel was recently renovated but the room looked like it needs cosmetic fix. Expected more from the 4 star hotel.
Very friendly restaurant and hotel staff, good food, roomy hall, good location, good facilties. Rooms need a facelift. The hotel invites not only tourists but also people with mental abnormalities for the rest.
Very good location, reasonable price – in our case it was a deal offer, good personal, nice pool, Fast check-in, Good breakfast. Rooms furnished are old, and carpets are worn, but very good beds and clean bathrooms. This hotel is often used for groups of disabled guests.
Super accommodating staff let me check in 6 hours early at 8am! Very helpful with tour advice. Fantastic location close to everything (I even walked from the airport which is .5km away). Great place to make friends. Needed to go in the hallway to use wifi which wasn't a big deal.
