The hotel is very 2 blocks away from any event or attraction I found 2 spiders in my bed . I just killed them .
It's just a block away from the main street. In close proximity to bars and restaurants . The staff at the front desk was very helpful. We didn't go to the bar at the hotel but it looked inviting and we would have if we had more time. The hotel is a little older but nicely maintained.
It was really close to all the attractions to Fisherman's Wharf The room we were in had a lot of guest traffic within the building such as people walking up and down the stairs and doors slamming. (room 241)
Proximity to the wharf 1. Found a man's underwear in the drawer. 2. I was never informed I would be charged an additional$100 on the day of our check-in. I saw the charge on my online visa statement and told only after my inquiry. Since there were no damages to the room, I should expect a refund in a few days. My experience has been that possilbe extra charges are done after check-out and NOT on the day of check-in. 3. A few ants coming out of the heater. 4. A $51 charge for underground parking because of the high rate of car break-ins so I parked there, only to find they also have overnight parking in the gated registration lot but told the price is the same???? Likely or another way to charge more???? No transparency.

Lots of food choices around the area including Starbucks. Looks clean. Nobody asked when we came in if we need help in our luggage. The bed creeks, make some noises when you move while sleeping. Parking is not included. You need to pay 50 bucks per night.
Staff extremely friendly and considerate, great location. Parking way too expensive, and maid would knock on our door way too early. Should wait until 10 not 8. Breakfast too expensive for not the best food.

Location was excellent, and the room was clean and well maintained. We stayed in the "Wharf Building" which seemed older and less maintained. There was no front desk staff in the building and it was difficult to get back over to the other building if we needed anything. Also, the elevator was under repair the full duration of our stay, which made the one working elevator very slow.
The bed was comfortable It was a motel and very overpriced.
Wonderful accommodations and friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely return again.
Location is very convenient, 10 minutes walk from Pier 39, 5 minutes from tram stop. It is clean, safe neighbourhood. Hotel itself is also clean. Breakfast is actually not existing, althought description of the hotel says differently. Just don't count you get anything except coffee. Also the room is extremely small. The two beds are actually accupying the whole space available. No room left for sitting or even walking.
It's a delightful, charming little inn, centrally located and a good bargain. The location was very near Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a very positive experience. There was no elevator but that wouldn't have been authentic with the original style of the hotel or aesthetically pleasing.

I loved everything about this place. Travelling alone I felt safe and secure here, it was close to where I had to go to meet the tour buses as well as within walking distance to the pier which had such a great atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable and the rates were more than competitive. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting the lovely San Francisco
Convenient location Telephone did not work, safety on outside door was broken, don´t fall for the breakfast is included, it´s a joke, at most they could call it a snack.
The location was great as it was just a short walk to Fishermans Wharf. The free wi-fi internet was a really great feature. Staff were friendly enough, and although the room was not flash, it was comfortable so it was definitely value for money. There is a sign by reception that says "This area contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause Cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm."... this was slightly concerning. Also I couldn't work the air conditioning unit but that could just be me :-)

Price, Location, access to taxi's. I requested the earliest possible check in time, and after my flight landed on the day of check in, the Hotel text me and said that I couldn't check in until after 3pm. I didn't have a rental car so I had to drag my luggage around downtown SF. I also requested to have a room with a view and a room on the highest floor possible. I was put on the 3rd floor with a window facing the hotels interior roof top. Zero view. There were large cobwebs above the bathroom door frame, the top sheet of my bed was yellowed on the underside and there were a few small stain marks on the sheets that were either wine, juice, or blood. King size bed was not comfortable at all. I HATE the hotels TV/entertainment system. The remote has a rollerball to control a mouse on the screen that is so small you can't read it unless you are sitting in the chair at the desk. Least user-friendly system I've ever used in a hotel. It's like you are watching tv through the computer's "tv application". Really strange.
I was here on business. I was very pleased with my room and the staff. My room was really clean and the workout room had many treadmills. The only thing negative comments would be minor so I won't even mention them. Thank you Hyatt !!
We liked the appearance of the lobby and room. The location was convenient to many things. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for internet at $8 per 15 minutes. It wasn't like other hotels as far as amenities.
Close to the wharf and waterfront Huge construction going on. Had to take side door, make shift reception area. Didnt really feel welcome. would have preferred to stay elsewhere had I known about it.
Great location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had 2 doubles and the beds sagged in the middle. Very hard for two people to sleep in a bed. Kept rolling into eachother. Please update mattresses.
Location Price confirmed by booking.com was not registered with the hotel. When they tried to charge a higher rate, I had to present the confirmation email from booking.com in order to get it adjusted down to the confirmed amount.
Location was close to wharf activities Food and shopping choices were abundant. Location had some logistic predicaments Cable car hub is nearby but there was an accident so I had to take a bus but it didn't go to my END point and I had to walk 5 blocks UPHILL
The place was gorgeous, clean and spacious But they were so understaffed. We checked in at 430pm and did not receive our crib for the baby until close to 10pm! We had to call them once to remind and I had to remind them at the counter when I came back from the store. We also added some items for them to bring up like baby shampoo and toothpaste, etc. when housekeeping came up at 930pm, he only brought the small items. I asked about the pack and play and he said they never told him. I assumed he was going to ring our toothpaste and the bedding for the baby, no. They didn't tell him about the toothpaste either!!!!! He had to come back twice!!! It was late and waaaaay past the kids bedtime. Sooooo annoying. The ladies at the counter made it seem like they would take care of everything but they didn't. One of them even asked me about the crib check in. Very disappointed.
