Everything was clean and the front desk lady was very nice. Management knows that they have a very noisy room and they still have it available (or maybe there are more?). It sounds like someone is flushing the toilet on you all night. And when you complain about it, and if the hotel is full, the manager will tell you that you can leave the hotel and they won't charge you. After a long fight with the manager (I am sure none in their vacations wants to fight) he agreed to refund 50% (I still think they should have refund 100%). However I am still waiting for that refund.
details are well-thought-out. Room was small but very well-designed and attractive. Very comfortable. I highly recommend the Shenkin Hotel. needed more drawer space, more hangers for clothes
Close to cinema, theatre, restaurants , shoping, market...
nice room, staff and location a problem with a window that kept opening and construction noises early in the morning from a site near by
Friendly and helpful staff, free car parking, all new and clean, great terrace on the roof! Not much, but the standard rooms are not very large and personally we prefer to have a toilet separated from the sleeping room
great value. right downtown. friendly and helpful staff. nice accommodations, clean. our room was a little small but very comfortable.
The people were absolutely lovely, they went out of thier way to help me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible
Free WiFi Internet & Breakfast Dust in the room :(
most friendly and accomodating so that we had a good time and a good stay.
Amazing staff, great location, clean, modern Construction next door, will wake you up. Very small rooms.
Great attitude. Location, design
Some of the bartenders, especially Karin and Michelle, were terrific.
The staff person was friendly and helpful. Location perfect. Shower door leaked. There was no hotplate or real cooking possibility since it was listed as an apartment.
Hotel is nice and cosy, everything is quite new. Very good situation near the beach and also the city center.
Good, convenient location. Nice spacious room with good amities. Just newly renovated. Would come there any time again. A little far to the gay beach.
Location near to the Beach. It was a cellar room!!
The location was so convenient to the beach and businesses. And everything inside the apartment was clean and new. Would have been great to have the room made up daily.
The apartments were great, clean and spacious
Large rooms(2 rooms!) new appartment with Nice furniture. Big lcd tv. Nothing.
Calm environment. Clean. Short distance to beach, public transportation, super markets. Better than hotels. Privacy. That the internet connection was very unstable!!! And I would personally prefered to have BBC World and CNN as international news channels, instead of Sky News and Fox News :-)
Good location ,close to the beach. modern spacious with large rooms, recently renovated. secure parking facilioties were available at extra cost Bathroom adequate but flooded when bath was used. Flats were not serviced and we had to request clean towels and for someone to clean -being near the beach there was often sand underfoot. No toilet paper was provided on an ongoing basis and kitchen was poorly equipped. Apart from this we felt it was good value for money
I enjoyed it's location very much - close to the beach and the city. The room was quite dirty when we moved in.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is nice and clean. Location - very close to the beach. Noisy at night. no window in the room, just a balcony door. Basic breakfast.
If you are on the 1st or 2nd floor then you will have to contend with the three clubs that are only a couple of doors away from the hotel. At least one of which is open util 6am.
Clean, comfortable room and nice stuff location (the hotel is located in a place where one doesn't feel comfortable after dark) and lack of parking space.
leaving The hotel is very poor. It is located in the roughest, red light district of Tel Aviv, above a disco. I left after one night.
excellent location, good shower, clean enough, excellent value for money. Noise of nearby clubs didn't bother me at all. Very helpful & smiley staff. I needed just clean bed & shower in good location. I get it. Not reccomended for coulples with children. If am ever in Tel -Aviv again I will stop there.
Aside from the fact that it is centrally located, this hotel has a very helpful staff A minor irritant was the tendency of the staff to forget to turn on the power in the room once the guest got in
It could have been better but it's O.K.
Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a problem with something going missing on the flight into Tel Aviv and they helped me fax a complaint to El Al. Although clean, the decor in the room was very dated. Also, the bathroom was basic.
The receptionist that we first encountered, called Arcadi, was really helpful and had such a positive and friendly attitude. His approach was a really great example of good service. No kettle in the room.
Very nice personnel and convenient hotel for those who choose value of money and do not expect luxury but a tidy place to stay for a night while enjoying signtseeings, sea and beach during a day
The location is perfect. The staff very friendly. The rooms are a little small. A little expensive but every hotel in Israel (and especially in tel Aviv) are very expensive compare to hotel standards.
Good budget accomodation for someone who just needs the basics on a shorter trip in Tel Aviv. Nice staff and good help with every question I had as a tourist. Somewhat artistic interior at the hotel, which I appreciated. That gave something extra to the stay.
I want to send a big, big thank you to the very nice clerks at the reception! They were very helpful, no matter whether our questions pertained to finding a small road in a nearby village, doing a propper knot to my boyfriends tie or recommending us non-touristic places for a drink with locals! You gave us a very warm welcome, THANK YOU! Plus, the bar at the hotel with the two bar-guys is absolutely to be recommended for a friendly, welcoming easy-going good-night drink!
small very nice and cosy Hotel in the Centre of Tel Aviv. In the weekends you have to be prepared for some nightlive on Allenby. Very nice and helpfull personal 24 hours a day!!
The staff was very helpful and the location was great. Liked the ambiance of the room. 1-The shower was very tiny. Too tiny to even move around. 2-The worse thing about the hotel was the breakfast voucher to the loveat place. The staff there was rude and not helpful. The clarity of what constitutes breakfast was not clear.
Great location, low cost, balcony. Dingy, somewhat dirty, rooftop not used, small, no elevator.
The staff was friendly, welcoming and gave great directions. Considering hostels cost the same for a private room, this was exceptional. I will stay at Galileo again. I stayed in two rooms (because I decided to extend) and the first had a jacuzzi and a balcony, the second was regular, but did the job of giving me a home-base near Carmel market.
Very close to the beach. Basic hotel. Price reasonable compare to other hotels in Tel Aviv. We would definitely stay there again if we came back to Tel Aviv.
Location Too small room, no elevator, no phone to call out.
It was fine for the price. The neighborhood was great but the term "boutique hotel" misleading.
But there we some really great things about the hotel: - the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Owners are there, and are very open for communication - the breakfast is just terrific The total atmosphere is just great, and we do not regret that we stayed there. But be warned that this boutique-hotel can be a bit of a disappointment to the one used to **** comfort We chose the hotel because of the highest rating on booking.com. But indeed we'd rather not rate it as 10%. The reasons are following: - the rooms are really small. Toilet and a bath are not separated. - furnishing is pretentious but poor - windows do not close toughly, it was cold in the night - no parking for guests, and cOncierge failed to explain where to park
