Meals were okay, nothing special but it was not bad.
A variety of movie selection was nice.
Upon check-in, I needed to pay extra 86 dollars to get an aisle seat despite the fact that I checked in at the airport 3.5 hours earlier. Actually tried to check in online one day before but there’s no aisle seat available at all so wanted to ask a staff at the desk but I was told that if I wanted an aisle seat I needed to pay. Undoubtedly think that no aisle seat was available from the very beginning to force passengers to pay additional fee.
After being onboard, there were a few Japanese / American cabin crews but no one was friendly. Their attitude was the most horrible ones that I ever experienced onboard. A young Japanese male cabin crew was especially very unfriendly without any smile, thought and care. After a take-off, I was told that there’s no headset despite that it was 12 hours flight. Had no idea how to watch a movie... indeed, most of the passengers couldn’t get headsets and those who carried own earphones could watch movie or listen to music with sound.
